Recent human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) legislation, namely the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), requires companies to use their contracts with suppliers to prevent, address, and remedy adverse human rights impacts arising in their supply chain. Join us for a conversation on key legislative changes related to contracts, guidance on aligning commercial contracts with the new requirements, and hear directly from representatives from apparel brands HAKRO and Zeeman on their experiences revising their company's contracts to incorporate responsible contracting principles. This conversation intends to equip brands with an understanding of what applying responsible contracting principles looks like in practice.
